Creating and sharing real estate content that engages others on a regular basis can bring you plenty of exposure.

Posting content to your network is quick and easy, and you can get started by logging into your RESAAS account. Here are five content ideas that you can post:
Are you selling an amazing house? Share it with your network! From your activity feed, click into ‘Listings’ and then ‘+Create a listing’.
When completing the listing form, be sure to complete it with as much detail as possible so that agents that are looking at it will know exactly what you are listing!
Be sure to also add photos to your listing to add a visual component to it! You can do so by expanding the ‘Add photos’ section at the bottom. If you want to up your visual game, consider adding a link to a video tour of your listing. You can do this by expanding the ‘Add more property details’ section, and then adding a link in the video URL field.
Once you add your listing, other REALTORS® will be able to see it and reach out to you. It will also be posted to your profile page as a ‘reblast’ (real estate broadcast, or a post).
Tip: You know this house better than anyone, so be sure to add a description of the house to highlight the major selling points and amenities. You can add this description in the ‘Add more property details’ section.
2. Buyer needs
Connections are a valuable part of a social platform, and RESAAS enables you to create new business connections to further expand your network. One way to do this is to post a buyer need.
If you have a client who is looking for a specific property type, you can share that buyer need with your network to find an agent who has a property that matches your buyer’s need. From the main activity feed, click on ‘Leads’ and click ‘+Create a Lead’.
Click on the box that says “I’m looking for a Property for my client”, and then fill out the form with as much information as possible.
Tip: You can further add property details to improve your chances of finding a property, as well as the commission details and terms that you will work out with the agent you decide to work with.
Another excellent way to grow your network and help your client find their dream home is to find a referral partner using RESAAS.
Under ‘Create a Lead’, you can also create a referral by filling out the referral form. You can access the referral form by clicking on the box that says “I’m looking for an Agent to refer my client to”. Fill out as much information as you can so as to give prospective agents enough information to work with.
Tip: You can also add client details to the referral, which will only be visible once you have awarded the referral to an agent.
4. Real estate blogs
If you’ve recently read great articles about real estate trends in your area or wrote a blog post about marketing tips for REALTORS®, the RESAAS platform is a great place to get exposure for it and share your knowledge!
Navigate back to the activity feed page so that you can share your article. In the text box, you can write a little description about what you’re sharing and then add a link to the blog so that agents can read more. You can also add an image to accompany your post by clicking on the image icon at the bottom and uploading one.
Tip: Want more eyes on your post? Don’t forget your hashtags! Hashtags allow you to jump into a larger conversation that exists about a topic. You can do this by adding a “#” sign in front of a phrase, just like this: #realestate.
5. Ask a question
RESAAS is a social platform, which means that we thrive when agents are connecting with other agents and asking questions about anything and everything having to do with real estate!
You can ask your question right from the feeds page. For example, let’s say you just read a great article from the RESAAS Blog on video marketing, and you would love some referrals for professional videographers. You can create a post on your feed and add an image. You can also add hashtags so that you can get wider exposure.
Tip: If you want to make sure that a particular person sees this question, you can tag them in your question. By adding a ‘@’ sign in front of their first/last name, that user will be notified and can respond back to you.
The RESAAS platform provides agents with plenty of opportunities to create new, original content, which can help to increase your exposure, share knowledge, and find new business contacts. You can post listings and leads, share useful blog articles or ask questions so that you can connect with other REALTORS® both in your area and around the world.
