What’s new with my inbox?
We’re constantly adding new features to make your RESAAS experience better, and here are a couple of new improvements that have been added to the RESAAS inbox:
Found a great agent? You can also message them right from their profile page. That way you can look through their profile and have all the information that you need before you send a message.
On the go? Messaging just got even better on mobile! The messaging experience is now more responsive on mobile. If you prefer to talk instead of text, you can now click on the agent’s phone number and call them directly.
Want to keep it totally simple? You can now start a conversation right in the inbox. You can also add images as well as files to add to your message and provide even more information to your recipient.
Looking for more business opportunities?
Picture the scene: you’re between showings of a listing and you’re quickly catching up on your daily dose of real estate news from RESAAS. You come across some good content from other agents - a buyer need, a gorgeous listing in a nearby town, a referral request - and you find that you have what the lead is asking for exactly!
So what comes next?

When it comes to sending a message to a potential new lead, be sure to take the time to personalize your message.
Sending a personalized message is key because it reflects a lot about who you are as a person and an agent. For one, personalized messages show that you are genuine in the connections you make. It shows that you have attention to detail and that you actually care about making a connection.
When was the last time that you wanted to be friends with someone who looked like their heart just wasn’t in it? Probably never, because friendships like that aren’t really that fun. In the same way, your messages should be an open invitation to respond and connect.
By sending over a message that is personal and inviting, you can start to build a rapport with other agents and strengthen your network.
This becomes extremely useful when it comes to sharing your niche or expertise, and even landing leads that you might not have had otherwise.
