Welcome to Bernal Heights.
Located in southeastern San Francisco, just south of the Mission District, Bernal Heights has always been a family friendly, residential neighborhood.
Bernal Heights is the quiet kid that usually sits in the back of the class, unassuming and typically keeps to themselves.
But recently, this San Francisco neighborhood has been surging in popularity. In fact, the North Slope area in Bernal Heights was named as 2014’s hottest neighborhood by Redfin.
In a city that is taunted with sky-high real estate prices, Bernal Heights offers relatively affordable homes for the many artists and tech workers.
However, in just a few short years after earning itself the top spot in the list of hottest San Francisco neighborhoods, many San Franciscans are flocking to this hot neighborhood. It’s become so popular that it drove the median sale price of a single family home up 75% from five years ago.
