On Tuesday we teased you with some details about RESAAS’ 2016 Real Estate Rockstars.
Today, we’re finally announcing our first set of nominees and winners for Branding.
It wasn’t easy coming up with these select few.
We had our Graphic Designer, Ryan, scour through websites, social profiles and newsletters to find the best brands in the real estate industry.
First, let’s talk criteria.
Before being considered for a nomination, aspiring nominees need to meet the following criteria:
We don’t mean how well they can get through awkward small talk at an uncomfortable dinner party, we mean how well the brand translates and adapts to various web platforms and mobile devices.
How well does the brand represent their values.
Every good brand has that little extra somethin’ that sets them apart from the rest. A Branding Rockstar is no different. Does the brand have that little somethin’ extra while standing out from their competition?
With a large, colorful home page image, Compass’s headline - “Let us guide you home.” pulls on the emotional chords of a potential home shopper from the get-go. The immediate search bar is a nice touch. Navigating through the website, there’s no one part that makes you question whether it should be there or not. All of the information is relevant, concise and captivating. Compass stays true to their commitment to technology through the sleek and seamless design of the site.
Open navigation videos are so hot right now and Climb knows it. Climb isn’t shy to include a great open navigation video on their homepage to show you what they know best - San Francisco. What’s that little something extra that Climb brings? Their families! If you head over to Climb’s “Our Story” page, they don’t just go through the same old story of their company, their brand is who they are individually. You can read bio’s on each agent’s family and their furry friends.
