Pokémon GO is the latest technology that’s been taking the world by storm. Released back in July 2016, the augmented reality app is downloadable on smartphones. Using your smartphone’s GPS capabilities, you’re able to walk around and locate, capture, battle and train virtual Pokemon characters.
In a matter of only two months, Pokémon GO has acquired 130 Million users and continues to rapidly grow with the releases of the app trickling worldwide.
REALTORS® are now leveraging Pokémon GO’s mass popularity as a selling point to draw attention to their listings.
A British Columbia agent didn’t hesitate to include their home listing as being “conveniently located between two Pokémon Gyms and has 8 Poke Stops within walking distance.”
Other agents are also jumping on board to showcase Pokémon Gyms and Pokestops as a selling point.
This beautiful Richmond, VA property has a lot going for it - vaulted ceilings, granite counter tops and over 1,200 sq. ft. but the biggest selling point? The property is currently the home to a Pokémon Gym!
